Play Submissions
Do you have a new play you want to share? Then you've come to the right place!
We're looking for original plays that we can help develop or produce. We promise to read and respond to every single submission but can only give feedback and offer opportunities to scripts we want to take further.

What to submit
Your submission should be an original play that runs at an hour or longer. You can submit to us for R&Ds or full productions, so when emailing let us know if there are sections of your play you are specifically looking at developing. As long as you have created it and the work is important to you, then we want to read it!

To make it easier for us:

Send us your script as a PDF that is titled with your play and name. Please don't send files bigger than 10MB.

We can only accept one play at a time from each playwright.

We love theatre! So please don't send screen/radio plays or novels.
Here at Very Rascals we especially like work that:

Spotlights social issues important to the writer.

Highlights forgotten stories in the present or throughout history.

Focuses on communication and the different ways we navigate as a society.
